About the Author
Christopher Flakus is a fiction writer and scholar who earned his MFA in Fiction from the University of Houston in 2023 and received the InPrint C. Glenn Cambor Fellowship in 2019. He has participated twice in the Institute for World Literature, most recently attending a conference program in Mainz, Germany.
With a background that bridges creative writing and critical theory, Flakus brings an interdisciplinary sensibility to his work. He serves on the editorial team of New Square Magazine, a Dublin-based literary publication, and is a member of the Sancho Panza Literary Society led by novelist Joseph Reynolds. His writing often blends myth, politics, and poetic language to explore worlds shaped by resistance and transformation.
