The Long Way Home

Memoir of 24 Months and 24 Days in a Federal Prison Camp

by F. R. James

The Long Way Home chronicles the dramatic rise and devastating fall of a successful corporate executive who lost his American Dream to something he never saw coming. Stripped of his wealth, career, and status, Frank James finds himself navigating the harsh, isolating realities of a federal prison camp. Rather than focusing solely on the bad life thrown at him, this memoir explores what happens after the fall, highlighting profound accountability, resilience, and the unconditional love of a wife who refused to abandon him. When everything you have spent decades building suddenly collapses, what remains to guide you back to the person you were meant to be?
