Far away, on the obscure and strangely familiar planet of Avalon, a legend speaks of a "stellar"—a space traveler possessing special abilities or "gifts"—who would one day arrive to change the universal Balance. After a previous traveler crashed his ship in the dense Baleful Forest, the people of Azoria grew to fear his powers and tortured him for his secrets. Before his death, he prophesied the arrival of a uniquely gifted stellar who would alter their world forever. Believing this foretelling to be a curse that brings only destruction, the Azorians now mercilessly hunt any Stellars unfortunate enough to be marooned on their planet.
