About the Author
Kim M. Turner’s journey began in New Orleans before her family settled in Florida to pursue careers in healthcare. With a father who was a pharmacist, a mother in pharmacy care, and an uncle who was a doctor, Kim initially followed in their footsteps, earning a degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of Florida before building a career with the United States Postal Service. Family heritage has always been central to her life; she was deeply influenced by her grandfather and uncle, who instilled in her the importance of ancestry and history. Today, Kim is driven by her faith to share the "Good News" and is dedicated to honoring her uncle’s last wish: restoring the legacy of Historic Stanton and the remarkable culture it represents.
